Organisations are rarely short of ideas, needs or opportunities. The challenge is knowing where to focus first. The New Shore Strategic Snapshot is an independent, high-level assessment of your organisation’s current position — identifying the opportunities, challenges and priorities most likely to help move it forward.
It is not a strategic plan. It’s a practical starting point to help you step back, see the bigger picture and determine where your time, energy and resources can have the greatest impact.
The review
What does it involve?
It starts with a 45–60 minute conversation with key people, to understand the organisation and its current situation. New Shore will then:
- Review relevant documents, plans and financial information
- Consider areas such as strategy, operations, fundraising, communications, governance, people and organisational capacity, as relevant
- Identify significant opportunities, constraints and areas requiring attention
The purpose isn’t to examine everything in exhaustive detail, but to develop an overall strategic picture and determine where attention should be directed first.
